With more than 22 years of experience in IT and client relations, Kasun is the Director of Operations at tekGeeks. Kasun started his career at Softlogic as a Customer Support Engineer working directly with clients onsite setting up hardware solutions, then moved in the INGO sector to work on the USAID program ‘Infoshare’. At the end of the program Kasun incorporated TekGeeks along with three friends as he identified that personalized service in IT was a requirement in Sri Lanka.
An avid team player, Kasun’s expertise lies in areas of connecting people and building longstanding relationships and partnerships with individuals as well as corporates, which contributes to the success of TekGeeks.
Chinthaka is a highly motivated, results driven leader with over 14 years of experience in designing, building and implementing sustainable business and technology solutions. Chinthaka has led complex projects in Banking and Wealth Management in Australia to implement operational efficiencies, quality controls, regulatory change and enhanced customer experience.
Backed by over 10 years of industry experience, Ishara Shehan Silva is no stranger to the digital marketing arena and has worked with B2B and B2C industry contexts ranging from travel and tourism marketing to enterprise software, professional services and much more. Boasting an impressive portfolio Ishara has worked both internally, as well as on a consultancy basis for an impressive variety of companies both locally and globally.
A highly motivated and energetic professional with over 10 years’ experience, who has an excellent track record of successfully managing small to large projects from conception to completion with strong leadership, managerial, analytical and technical skills. Currently leads in-house development team and works closely with product owners and project managers to understand the requirements and implement solutions that match the architectural vision.

TekGeeks has been instrumental in the development of the ‘Contact Sri Lanka’ platform
enabling Sri Lankans across the world to register their details, obtain information and
request for help directly from Government officials. The platform allows the Ministry to
access real time data for quick action and promotes greater access to Government
services through a single centralized point.
The portal has been critical in disseminating information to Sri Lankans living abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing the Sri Lankan Government to reach out and provide assistance. Working in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Relations, our contribution to the portal’s development has been on a pro bono basis recognizing our corporate responsibility to serve the community during these unprecedented times. Equitable access to education and skills development is imperative for sustainability and poverty alleviation. In recognition of this, TekGeeks has actively sought to engage in capacity building of students in rural schools through a series of workshops to improve computer skills, as well as providing career advice on academic pathways in computer technology to suit different interests. It is our vision that more rural students will be empowered to engage in computer technology in their future careers, which in turn would offer substantial benefits to local communities.
